Keidanren's education nonprofit arm, the Keizai Koho Center, regularly releases "Japan Economic Currents," an analytical publication focused on timely economic, politcal and social developments in Japan and the US-Japan business environment.
Each issue typically contains articles by Japanese and American policy experts and opinion leaders. Back issues of our newsletters are archived and searchable.
Packed into a pocket-sized booklet, "Japan: An International Comparison" provides a wide range of comparative economic statistics, including industrial data, trade in goods and services, balance of payments information, and tax statistics. The booklet also contains social indicators, including data regarding Japanese employment, health and education, the national population, and the media. To request a copy of the most recent "Comparison," please contact the Keizai Koho Center at: http://www.kkc.or.jp/english/.
