sponsor a range of outreach and information programs and events.
Keidanren-USA is the Washington DC office of Nippon Keidanren. Keidanren-USA’s mission is to promote greater understanding in the United States of the importance of the bilateral trade and investment relationship to the US and Japanese economies, and to support policies that strengthen bilateral trade relations. Keidanren-USA sponsors a number of outreach activities including:
An active program series focused on bilateral and regional trade and economic issues. Our Archived Programs section includes an index of Keidanren-USA programs from 2000-2007.
Quarterly Keidanren Caravans around the United States are jointly operated with the Embassy of Japan and the National Association of Japan-America Societies (NAJAS). Their purpose is to explain U.S.-Japan relations, regional issues and corporate practices to American
audiences.
Keizai Koho Center: Established in 1978, the Keizai Koho Center (KKC) is the information and outreach arm of Nippon Keidanren. KKC is an independent, nonprofit organization supported by individuals, industrial organizations and foreign-affiliated firms. The Center’s mission is to promote dialogue and understanding of Japanese business and society by sponsoring informational programs and events and through study trips which bring foreign scholars, businesspeople, educators, and journalists to Japan to help them learn more about the nation and its economy.
